Detroit Eastside Community Collaborative and Jefferson East Inc. held a series of meetings on August 4, 2014 to seek public input on bike lane plans for East Jefferson Ave.
An overview of striping plans for Jefferson Avenue was presented. Jefferson East and the Detroit Eastside Community Collaborative are developing a striping plan to incorporate bike lanes along a stretch of Jefferson Avenue from Lakewood to East Grand Blvd. and connect them to the 9-mile-long Conner Creek Greenway.
